Digital nomad visa
We haven't found a digital nomad visa for Dominican Republic. Ask Advisor about other ways to stay longer.
What we couldn't confirm
- Australia's visa-free status could not be confirmed from an official Dominican source (AU confidence low).
- The US$10 tourist card is reported (Wikipedia, non-official) as included in airfare for air arrivals since 2018 and still payable on arrival by land/sea; not confirmed officially, so omitted from preArrival.
- DGM lists extension fees as '$3,500' and '$5,600' without stating the currency; presumed Dominican pesos.
- The passport-validity exception (valid for the stay only) runs to 31 Dec 2026 per the official tourism site (corroborated by VisasNews, s7); it may lapse or be renewed after that date.
- No digital nomad/remote-worker visa found: the DGM permit list (s5) contains no remote-worker category, so nomadVisa is null. A web search found no official announcement of one.
