What we couldn't confirm

  • ETIAS start date is unconfirmed: official pages still say 'last quarter of 2026', but a 19 Oct 2026 news report (non-official) says the EU removed that target in July 2026 and has announced no date. Re-check before publishing.
  • The official EU Annex II visa-exempt list (Reg. 2018/1806) could not be fetched. CA/GB/AU visa-exempt status is backed by general official statements about visa-exempt nationals, not by a named listing.
  • No official source was fetched on short-stay extensions. 'extendable: no' reflects the general Schengen rule; national force-majeure or bilateral-agreement exceptions are not covered.
  • Spain: the 2-year renewal period comes from a non-official copy of Ley 14/2013 (the BOE consolidated text could not be fetched). It is consistent with the official DGGM criterion (authorisation max 3 years).
  • Spain: the income figure changes each year with the SMI. EUR 2,442 applies to 2026.
