What we couldn't confirm
- The visa-free list was checked against the 2015 initial text of Ordinance No 255; the latest consolidated version (24 Feb 2026) is behind a paywall. Current treatment for US, CA and GB confirmed by those governments' 2026 advice; EU and AU rely on the ordinance text only.
- Official sources do not say whether exiting and re-entering resets the one-year visa-free period.
- C5 visa: no income threshold in the decree; eligible nationality list (press reports mention 'safe countries') not confirmed. A separate Digital Nomad Residency Programme for IT entrepreneurs (USD 25,000/year) is reported by a non-official source only and is not recorded here.
