What we couldn't confirm

  • ETIAS: official sources (Dutch government page; Swiss SEM FAQ) say ETIAS is not yet in operation and no action is needed; some official pages (EEAS, Belgian embassies, last updated 2025) still say 'last quarter of 2026'. Press reports (non-official) say launch has slipped to 2027; no official new date found.
  • Greek digital nomad visa: the official embassy page (London) confirming EUR 3,500/month and 12 months dates from 2021; residence permit length, family top-ups and net-income basis come only from non-official sources (EY 2021, Legal 500). The figure may have changed under Law 5038/2023; migration.gov.gr could not be checked.
  • Short-stay extension rules for Greece were not confirmed from an official Greek source (low confidence on extensionDetail).
  • EU free-movement details not checked against a Greek or EU free-movement page.
  • EU row: the only source cited (European Commission visa-policy page) does not itself describe free movement, so confidence is set to low pending an official free-movement source.
